We wrote this together in horror while witnessing the military occupation of the Twin Cities in response to peoples' uprisings against brutal state violence in April 2021. Stay tuned for the rest of our upcoming album, the Slept Dawn!

Bored on their phones in the target parking lot
Boarded up stores sidewalk parking spot
I roll past in a Midwest jello mold
amber scenes tainted in a tinted glass of old
Poison madly sold as a medicine
Cavalcade of mold up the road where snelling sinned
Foul magic buried sacred sites
Spells cast to control a place with racist rites
Performed to take the rights flip ‘em blatant like

They're shooting gas and rounds at anyone who moves
like chants and cameras are the big threat here
like calm at W@lmart is the one thing we can't lose

“Let’s build a road where they buried their bones
Let’s put a highway where they built up their homes”
Prayers for power from the devil himself
A death cult revelin’ in everything dealt
It isn’t incidental - the insult on injury
The misleading narrative’s intentional: perjury
hung jury on a tree - cops judge fury
Protestors plead for help but not a one hurries
poppin’ kettle corn and oppin’ project “safety net”
Freedom fighters front and infiltratin’ safely bet
rules will rearraign like housing/stock markets
Shock margin’s what we swallow ’n’ still keep shoppin’ target
God forbid we smash that Overton window
one nation under control, get over this shit hole
